Community service

In order to be an active member of ULSNA, one of the requirements is to earn one community service point per semester. If you earn ten points by the time you graduate, you will be awarded a cord that you can wear at graduation. This page is intended let you know of various community service opportunities so that you can earn the points that you need. Please note that the last day to earn community service points every semester is on the Friday of finals week with the exception of if you volunteer for graduation.

Upcoming Events:

Mardi Gras Clean Sweep (FEB. 21)​

  • ​​Join UL Lafayette AmeriCorps, Parish Proud and Keep Lafayette Beautiful as we come together to assist in the cleanup of a portion of the Mardi Gras parade route. Volunteers will meet at the Blackham Coliseum and head out to eight designated areas to collect litter and Mardi Gras beads, helping return our public spaces to a clean, safe, and welcoming condition. 9AM-11AM.
